Storytelling That Keeps Our Heritage Alive

The Royal Iwere Theatre Troupe is a vibrant cultural performance ensemble that celebrates the rich heritage and traditions of the Itsekiri people through captivating storytelling. By weaving together music, dance, drama, and folklore, the troupe brings to life ancient origin stories and legends of Itsekiri communities.

Each performance offers audiences a living glimpse into the kingdom’s storied history — advancing our mission to birth the Itsekiri renaissance through history, art, and culture, and to foster pride and identity across generations.
