Warri-born marine tycoon and former DESOPADEC and Warri North Local Government Chairman, Hon. Godwin Toritseju Ebosa was moments ago decorated with the prestigious Royal Order of Iwẹrẹ (ROI) by His Majesty, Ogiamẹ Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri.

This honour is bestowed on well deserving sons and daughters of Warri Kingdom who have distinguished themselves in their endeavors. The award is the highest honour; only second to the Chieftaincy honour of Warri Kingdom.

Vanguard Publisher, Sam Amuka, first Nigerian Pilot, Róbert Hayes, Oritsedere Owosika, daughter of Nigeria’s first finance minister, Festus Okotie-Eboh, global sports administration icon, Amaju Pinnick, and billionaire industrialist, Julius Rone are amongst some of the older recipients.
