A New Chapter in Warri Kingdom: The Inauguration of the Royal Order of Iwere
As a part of the Coronation Anniversary celebrations, in a momentous ceremony that etched a new chapter in the history of Warri Kingdom, His Majesty Ògíamè Atúwàtse III, CFR, inaugurated the Royal Order of Iwere (ROI) by decorating ten distinguished Itsekiri individuals.
The honorees, selected for their outstanding achievements and contributions in their respective fields, are:
- 1. Engineer Felix Omatsola Ogbe, FNSE, ROI
- 2. Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick, OFR, ROI
- 3. Mr. Ade Mabo, ROI
- 4. Mr. Julius Dediare Rone, OFR, ROI
- 5. Mr. Alfred Temile, ROI
- 6. Mr. Sam Amuka-Pemu, OON, ROI
- 7. Dr (Mrs.) Ajoritsedere Awosika, OON, MFR, mni, ROI
- 8. Master Eworitsewarami Justin Wilbert, ROI
- 9. Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, ROI
- 10. Mr. Misan Harriman, ROI
These individuals will become automatic members of the Royal Iwere Society, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge, network, and capacity that will undoubtedly enrich both the Society and Warri Kingdom at large.
